Cardiff Devils Ice Hockey Cardiff has it's own ice hockey team compete in the National Hockey Leauge from September to April each year. From their new home in cardiff bay, next year's team will be hoping to repeat last year's cup-winning success and reach the playoff finals once again.
Glamorgan Cricket
County cricket and fast paced Twenty20 cricket can be enjoyed at Sophia Gardens - home of Glamorgan Cricket Club, just a short five minute walk to the city centre. The ground will host its first one day International match this year, before being upgraded in 2007 in order to host the Ashes in 2009.
Water sports
Thanks to the cardiff bay Barrage an area of tidal mudflats have now become the 500-acre freshwater lake of Cardiff Bay. Watersport competitions including sailing, canoe polo, power boating, windsurfing, dragon boat racing and water skiing regularly take place here; and the International Sports Village, currently under development will add further facilities to the Bay, including a 50m swimming pool, a real snow ski centre, an ice rink, shops, casinos and an Olympic standard canoeing and white water rafting centre.

Wales will host the Ryder Cup tournament in 2010, with the matches being played at The Celtic Manor Resort, just 20 minutes from Cardiff. Around Cardiff are several golf club, you can see it here
