This is the oldest theatre in Cardiff and is located in the city center. Since opening in 1906 this recently restored Edwardian Playhouse has played host to the such legends of the stage as Laurel and Hardy. Today it is a popular venue for touring musicals and plays
On the stage are: musical, drama, pantomime and children performances.

The New Theatre is in Park Place, near the city center (Queen street) and City Hall.
St David's National Concert Hall is the most broadcast concert venue in Britain thanks to its wide range of productions. The hall is best known as the venue for the annual Welsh Proms, but it also hosts international singers, comedians, musicals and plays. (Tickets range from free to around £30)
During 2004-2005 in St David's Hall had been over 300 performances which saw over 200.000 people and 191 techniques
