  1. By car
    From the city center to the airport is about 12 miles.
    The airport you can find on this map. The airpot is in the left-bottom corner of the map.
    If you would like to leave your car at the airport park place then I suggest to book a ticket through the internet, it is cheaper:Cardiff Airport

  2. By train
    Trains run app. every 15 minutes from Barry and Bridgend to Cardiff city center. From trainstation in Barry we have to go by taxi or by bus.

  3. By bus
    From Cardiff central station you can take a bus X91. Every 30 minutes from Monday to Friday and about every hour on Saturday and Sunday. Travel takes about 40 minutes.
    One way ticket: £4,
    return ticket: £7
    one way for children: £3, 
    return for children: £5.

  4. By taxi
    Checker cars, is available 24 h, 7 days a week. A taxi can be booked in advance on website or send an e-amil: cardiff@checkercars.com, or call:(0)1446 711747.
    It will cost you about £22 from the airport to Cardiff city center.

    From Cardiff to Bristol is about 60 miles.

    On your way back from Bristol you have to pay some fee on the Bristol bridge £5

    Timetables are here, you can book your ticket on-line.
    Journey takes about 30 minutes (Cardiff central station to Bristol Temple Meads).
    By the Bristol train station there is also a bus station, from where is easy to get to the airport (about 20 minutes, in rush hours it can be more). Prices are here: www.firstgroup.com
    You can use National Express, aswell, but it's more expensive.

  • Megabus, Tickets from £1, to Victoria Central Station
  • National Express, Look for promorions, then tickets are cheap. To VICTORIA STATION or to the airport.
  • by train, I think it is the most expensive way of travel.

    • Coach -National Express, tickets can be booked on-line. They also leave from Victoria Central Station.
